Zion is from Boston, Massachusetts, and began dancing at four years old. He started at Boston Ballet School when he turned eleven and spent the next seven years in their Pre-Professional and Trainee program and performed in ballets such as Romeo and Juliet, La Sylphide, and Martin’s The Sleeping Beauty.
Zion joined Richmond Ballet’s second company in 2018 and during his time there he was in ballets including Cinderella and Balanchine’s Who Cares?.
In 2019, he joined First State Ballet Theatre and danced in Plotnikov’s Dracula, Carnival in Venice, as well as pieces by fellow company members. Zion joined Fort Wayne Ballet in 2020 and performed in numerous ballets, including Arpino’s Light Rain, Stierle’s Concerto con Brio and Empyrean Dances, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Tritz's Dracula, and many others.
This is Zion's first season with Ballet Pensacola, and he is looking forward to what the year brings!
