Casey Nokomis Pereira was born in South Lake Tahoe, California, and trained at the San Francisco Ballet. She has previously been a company artist with Viviana Durante Company, AC Workroom by Alina Cojocaru, Sergei Polunin Ink, McNicol Ballet Collective, New English Ballet Theatre, Vienna Festival Ballet, Minnesota Ballet, and Ballet San Jose.

In 2023, Casey performed in the Next Generation Festival at the Royal Opera House in London and at the Roissy Choreography Springboard in Paris. In 2022, she danced at the Biarritz Choreographers Competition in France; in 2021, she performed at the Dance Inversion Festival in Moscow presented by the Bolshoi Theatre; in 2019 she danced in the world premiere of Johan Kobborg’s Romeo + Juliet in the Arena di Verona and again in 2021 at the Royal Albert Hall.

Her past repertoire includes Natália Horečná’s La Strada; Isadora Duncan’s Dance of the Furies; Joy Alpuerto Ritter’s UNDA; Johan Kobborg’s Romeo + Juliet; Andrew McNicol's Of Silence; Kenneth MacMillan’s Seven Deadly Sins; Ross Freddie Ray’s Little Red and The Wolf; Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16; Alicia Alonso’s Giselle; Roland Petit’s Carmen; George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations, Serenade, Western Symphony, and Who Cares?; Helgi Tomasson’s Ballet d’Isoline; and classics including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and Firebird.

In addition to her dance career, Casey holds a degree in sociology and works as a freelance social media manager and content creator for various arts organizations.
